Snoop Dogg carried the Olympic torch through Paris ahead of the opening ceremony this evening (July 26).
The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper – who is serving as a special correspondent for US TV network NBC throughout the Olympic games – strutted down the streets of Saint-Denis where the Stade de France Olympic stadium is located as the final torchbearer.
French actress Laetitia Casta and French rapper MC Solaar also carried the torch in Saint-Denis alongside Snoop Dogg. Dressed in an all white tracksuit and gold trainers, Dogg handed off the torch where it will be carried to the Olympic cauldron during the opening ceremony.

Previously speaking about the opportunity to be a torchbearer at the 2024 Olympic games earlier this week (per USA Today), Snoop said: “I look at this as a prestigious honor and something I truly respect. I would have never dreamed of nothing like this.”
He continued: “I’m going to be on my best behavior. I’m going to be on my best athleticism. I’ll be able to breathe slow to walk fast and hold the torch with a smile on my face, because I realize how prestigious this event is.”

“Oh the horse crip-walking, you see that? On the set! That’s gangster. This horse is off the chain, I gotta get this motherfucker in a video,” Snoop said in the 2021 viral video.
The rapper has since told Jimmy Fallon that he’ll be meeting the horse later this year: “I’m going to meet the horse in real life. He’s the returning champ. So I got to go meet him — you know what I’m saying? — and let him know I’m a big fan.”
