Louis Tomlinson has revealed that he failed to get a ticket for Oasis‘ 2025 reunion tour over the weekend.
Tickets went on sale on Saturday (August 31) and promptly sold out at 7pm.
However, some fans who managed to reach the other side of multi-hour long queues were left frustrated to find huge price increases on tickets, due to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing policy.
Ticketmaster have clarified on their website previously that tickets that are “market-priced” “may increase or decrease at any time, based on demand. This is similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold.”
Now, the former One Direction singer said he tried for tickets but could not got beyond the queue.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ Martin Brundle on the grid at the Italian Grand Prix yesterday (September 1), when asked if he managed to bag a ticket, Tomlinson said: “I didn’t, I was in the queue, but I never got a number… I did try, I did try.”

He was then asked if he could use his celebrity status to get a free ticket from the Gallagher brothers, to which he said: “I have my fingers crossed.”
Tomlinson has frequently praised Oasis in the past, saying that there needs to be more bands like the Britpop icons.
He did previously also credit Noel Gallagher as a “lyricist and composer” on his 2020 single ‘Walls’, after including elements of three Oasis tracks on the song.
Elsewhere, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has called for a review into “dynamic pricing” and secondary ticket sites following the scramble for Oasis tickets at the weekend.
The band announced a huge run of comeback gigs last Tuesday (August 27), dubbed Oasis Live ’25. Set to take place next summer, the trek will see Liam and Noel Gallagher perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years and is expected to gross a staggering £400million.
Meanwhile, former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer is reportedly set to join the line-up for the band’s sold-out reunion tour and Oasis and Sabrina Carpenter are currently competing to secure this week’s UK Number One single.
