If you haven’t managed to beat the hardest boss in Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, it’s time to start feeling bad, because it’s just been beaten by a streamer’s pet goldfish.
As spotted by GamesRadar+, streamer Eric ‘PointCrow’ Morino set up a camera and computer overlay for his goldfish, Tortellini, so that where it swam in the tank corresponded to a button input in Elden Ring.
He created a build, buffed the Tarnished with spells and wondrous physik, and then let Tortellini go to town. It took over eight hours, but the fish finally managed to beat the last boss in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Promised Consort Radahn.
The fish has previously beaten Malenia’s first phase. She used to be considered the hardest boss in the game, but Radahn has taken the top spot since the launch of the DLC. Kai Cenat spent dozens of hours trying to beat him during his marathon stream of the game, so this is actually quite impressive for Tortellini.
The build Torellini used included dual-wielding Great Stars, giant maces that inflict blood loss on enemies, an effect that does a huge chunk of damage. The fish also managed to heal a lot so that it could stay alive during the fight.
For those of you still struggling to beat the boss, a recent patch did come out that makes the game significantly easier, and you can even try out a build that should see you breezing through or ask for help from one of the community’s most legendary players.

In other news, Elden Ring is the most-selling game of the summer, proving the DLC has worked well, even at its relatively high price point.
