Fetty Wap drops new album ‘King Zoo’ from behind bars

The rapper also organised two charitable Thanksgiving giveaways while locked up

Fetty Wap has surprised fans with the release of his third studio album ‘King Zoo’ while he serves a lengthy jail sentence. Check out the LP below.

The New Jersey rapper’s previous album ‘Butterfly Effect’ came in 2021 – the same year he unfortunately lost his four-year-old daughter, Lauren Maxwell, due to a heart defect.

‘King Zoo’ is described as Wap’s “17-track opus”. Its lead single, the Coi Leray-assisted ‘1738’, was released earlier this month and has already surpassed over 1million streams online. Leray is also the only feature on the LP. Check out the full tracklist and listen to the album below.

Earlier this week – to coincide with ‘King Zoo’s release – Wap got his team to organise a Thanksgiving Giveaway in his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey. Partnering with the local small business Mammas Kitchen, the event supplied the community with over 200 free meals.

The next night, he partnered with Children of Promise NYC, a non-profit organisation that supports children of incarcerated parents from the Bronx to Brooklyn, to provide a Thanksgiving dinner celebration for 150 kids ages six to 16 in Brooklyn, New York. The ‘679’ rapper was arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine.
