BLACKPINK‘s Lisa and Rosalía have released the music video for their new collaboration, called ‘New Woman’.
The new music video was helmed by famed music video director Dave Meyers, know for his work with Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and more. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosalía co-wrote ‘New Woman’ with Tove Lo, Tove Burman and Max Martin, who also co-produced the song with ILYA.
“Hit it when I serve / Bitch, you better swerve / Revving up my a-a-a-a-aura / Focus on my mind / Taking my time / I’m a new woman, woman,” Lisa sings on the chorus. The song also features a Spanish version of the chorus, sung by Rosalía.
‘New Woman’ was previously thought to be titled ‘Brand New Día’, after BLACKPINK’s Lisa dropped a teaser for the song on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption featuring the lyric.

The release of ‘New Woman’ comes a little over a month after Lisa made her solo comeback with the single ‘Rockstar’. The song was her first release since she opted not to re-sign with YG Entertainment for solo management in December, subsequently launching LLOUD in February this year.
The Thai K-pop idol is slated to make an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival 2024 as a co-headliner alongside Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll and Rauw Alejandro next month at the Central Park Great Lawn in New York City.
In related news, Lisa was recently appointed Louis Vuitton’s newest brand ambassador, shortly after she stepped down as fellow LVMH-owned brand Celine in June. Speaking of her appointment, the brand said that Lisa’s “achievements speak to values at the core of Louis Vuitton – a passion for creativity combined with a commitment to excellence in one’s craft”.
